Mid-late August usually has our first 20C. The last is generally some time in May. Occasionally June and July can have 20C days aswell. This year July had a 23.3C day (record), while in June the highest was 18.3C.

I'm not really surprised, as Kharkiv is slightly warmer in summer. As it's continental, it has less of a lag, so the 20°C+ period starts earlier. The average high difference is notable in June.

I am in Canada and average daily maximums are above 20C from May 18 to Sept. 17.

But days above 20 (sometimes well above) are possible at any time from mid March to mid November.

In terms of the average highs of 20C+, they start on May 8th and last through Oct 4th (Midway airport). But of course they can happen in every month (except haven't happened in Jan. which has a record max of 19C).
