I much prefer the -2C with heavy snow and wind, because I like snow better than rain, and I wouldn't want all that good moisture to go to waste . Build up that snowpack, baby.

Windy and Snowy without a doubt. Nothing feels worse when rain is blowing sideways and hitting you in all directions even when it's warm out... add the cold element and it's just miserable. If it's going to be cold... just let it snow.

You don't have to shovel rain.

You do have to shovel mud, though, and heavy rain implies mud or the occasionnal flood with all its dire consequences.
Much worse than snow in my book (and ugly to boot...)

I voted for rain. I'll take the snow maybe right around Christmas, but the rest of the year, I like rain. For one thing, you don't have to shovel it. And cozying up inside with a book is one of my favorite pastimes.

I love both. I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to enjoying a cold rain. That said, I'll take the snow between the two. The rain can wait until March.

Snow. I do have to drive to college every day, but if there was heavy, dangerous snow, I'd just stay home Even if school's not canceled (and it would 95% chance be canceled in heavy snow) I would not put my life at risk to drive in heavy snow in Tennessee!
