From the county weather station 15 miles NE of me, at the private air field:

At 10:55 AM, Central

Temp is 90 F
Humidity is 71%
Dewpoint 78.8 F
Heat Index 106 F

That is Louisiana style heat/humidity, except it is in southern Middle Tennessee

Give us at least the humidity and dew points since we've had such a very cool summer so far.


Dew point peaked at 22C earlier this morning at my NWS station, going lower as Canadian dry air is sweeping in for a couple of days

I'm not seeing many 80s DPs today like yesterday except 1 or 2 here and there. Like Hopkinsville, Kentucky at 80F

Paducah Kentucky at 79F

We have gone from bad to worse.


Current conditions at the local private airport:

Mostly Cloudy Temperature: 91°F
Winds: West at 16.1 MPH
Pressure: 29.79 in.
Humidity: 71%
Dewpoint: 80.6°F
Heat Index: 110°F
Last updated: Jul 14 2015, 1:55 Pm

The Nashville weather folks say next week will be worse

10pm Dew points. My winds say 0. Winds are calm at many locations
