My room is hotter and more humid than the rest of the house, due to me blasting fans in the window. Didn't realize how steamy it was till I went downstairs.

Pretty nasty day. Some of the highest dewpoints of the year today, over here.

My PWS was showing 76F earlier, with an air temp of 89F. Heat index was 99F at the time.

Islip only reached 73F: National Weather Service : Observed Weather for past 3 Days : Islip, Long Island Mac Arthur Airport

Westhampton hit 75F: National Weather Service : Observed Weather for past 3 Days : The Gabreski Airport

And 74F at Farmingdale: National Weather Service : Observed Weather for past 3 Days : Farmingdale - Republic Airport

At Islip, the nighttime low didn't drop below 77F. DP rose to 75F overnight.

That's really rare over here. The highest low ever at ISP was only 81F, so 4F within.

I can already tell that it's gonna be a hot day today. No doubt about it.

Can you imagine dealing with this on a consistent basis or since May?

Interesting to see where the clouds are this morning.. which exactly fits what nei was saying but DPs have been consistently high since yesterday anyway.

Maybe High dew points in the morning are associated with clouds more then during the day?

Dewpoints dropped! Down to 68°F from 74°F or more. Big drop was right after the rain band passed around 9 pm last night

As for clouds probably connected to the storms moving past. Clear this morning but a bit of a hazy look. Weatherunderground still has dewpoint dropping to 55°F late in the afternoon.

Havent checked the latest models this morning but yesterday they showed the drop coming overnight and in the morning tomorrow.

Here is NWS hourly forecast for CEF. Click forward or back 2 days to see more. Looks like they think 10am Wednesday for the drop into the 50s. Stays in the 50s to Friday! DRY & WARM!

Check out the wind shift... South tomorrow ahead of the front then from the NorthWest after.

Hourly Weather Forecast for 42.18N 72.6W (Elev. 177 ft)

Forgot the NWS has hourly weather forecast. That's a great link, dunno why never bothered to check the link called "hourly weather graph". Looks every day will be windy, can't we get one calm nice day? Doesn't appear to be as bad as last Thursday when we were blasted by north wind in the morning.
