Dewpoint now down the 60°F at a temperature of 80°F.
Could live with that even though 50s DP would be better.

Enjoy it man... next week you'll feel the 50s again.. both min temps and max Dews.

Iowa <3

Dewpoint plummetted from 21°C to 14°C in the past two hours in Paris-Montsouris, with temps around 30°C.

This is really odd. Just walking outside it feels to me like the muggiest day of the year by far, even more than when the dewpoint was 75 at the beginning of the month. I mean EXACTLY like Florida in July. Can this feeling be artificially enhanced by having rain on the ground? Or could these measurements malfunction?

Ground can make all the difference a little wet and your body really feels the effect. At least I do. Crops/Vegetation/soil type. Ect. 73 DP with Sandy soil around might not feel as humid as 73 DP with loam soil. Interesting comment there.

I wonder if that's why the south(Florida) tolerates this more than me with Greenery, Trees, Rocks, Hills, and Clay soil around.

Also height of the measurements might play a role too. What is your WS station saying there?

Im at 73F here. Brutal to say the least. No precip. Dirty skes. No air. Feels like someone is sitting on your shoulders. Nasty. Sweating standing still

Look whats coming behind you. Feels like it will be an eternity to get here.

Yeah a lot of times I can feel warm and moist air coming rising off the grass in waves, almost like standing in front of a dryer vent. Never really noticed that in Florida. It will be interesting to compare when I'm there in a few weeks.

I experienced that last Friday. One particular spot felt quite a bit muggier than the surroundings. It was a very small lawn with bushes around. Walk a few meters forward and it's back to normal.

Btw, dew point of 60°F for an air temp of 73°F here at 11 pm.

7:10am Dewpoints and Surface Pressure.

Relief coming but notice the Coast is still humid. Front is just off the coast.

I'm LOVING these Canadian Highs dropping in for a visit. But I only get 1-2 days break at best.
