22.6C (73.7F) dew point this morning at 8am. Makes sense considering there was dew on the grass and plants and temperatures only dropped to 22C overnight. Temperatures warmed very quickly in the morning - already 28C/83F by 10am - usually with heat waves the temperatures peak later in the day, like 2-6pm.
Dew points seem set to decline as the week progresses and temperatures cool though. Normal for this time of year would be low 60s.
How quickly the season changes....neg DP's typical of the 'dry season' and then DP's in the low 20c's only a few days later, are harbinger of the impending 'build up' to the 'wet season'.
33 C air temp + 27 C dew point = 29 C wet bulb (this is in the more inland part of Bangladesh during early September)
According to this, a wet bulb of 32 C = a US heat index of 55 F, while a wet bulb of 35 C = a US heat index of 71 C (speculated theoretical maximum in the real world according to Wikipedia a few years ago)
