If areas dropped their lows to their dewpoint that would mean widespread 40s tonight. We'll see in the morning what the temps are.


Either way........ 40s here this evening. WOW!!!!!!!!!

What a pattern for Summer.


5 days in a row with dewpoints dropping below 56°!
It hasn't happened in the past 20 yrs between July 15-August 6th.


Happens more towards end of August





6:30am temps this morning. Open those windows and doors!

A nasty 75f here today. I beat out all the states year round on dew points.

Insane dew points in Illinois today topping out at least at 86F in Taylorville with a heat index of 119F

I won't high hat a 86f many times or any. I think a 86f was the highest ever here years back.

Dew Points are out of control again today. Mid 80s in spots making it feel like 115F in some parts of Illinois and it's only 11AM. Some Amazon jungle stuff.....








I'm seeing a heat index of 105F with an 81F dew point at 11:30AM

Make that an 86 degree dew point with a heat index of 118F Scott Airforce Base




Rochelle Illinois 60 miles west of Chicago 85F dew point 119F heat index and climbing
