So far in Philadelphia, November is averaging -7.8f from normal. I know the rest of the month can only be warmer cause it would be very unusual to end up that far below normal in November. The lowest temp so far this month was 32f on November 6th. We haven't yet gone below 32f. All the plants in the area are still alive as there has been no killing freeze in my neck of the woods yet. I think you need to get down below 32f for an extended number of hours to kill all the tender veg.
Our first 'frost' was on the 3rd of November. Lowest -1.3C / 29.6F on 4th.
We had our first visible frost in October though. We've fallen below freezing 4 times this month. The grass obviously stopped growing ages ago, and as for plants - I don't see any.
Not yet (lowest is 0.2C, though we have had a few nights below 2C) and not forecast for the foreseeable future. We average 0.2 frosts in October and two in November, so I'd normally be expecting my first one soon.
Not recorded one here yet. Lowest so far was 3.3C in October & 3.9C this month...
