Ascension Island for me... pretty much near perfect. The only thing I'd change is add about another 500 sunshine hours and it would be an A+. Port Sudan looks good too and would be my second choice but is too hot in the summer.

Mokhotlong is great for Africa. Just wish it was a little colder in winter, though snow is not unheard of in Lesotho. Thala probably gets snow once in a while too, but summers are way too hot and dry for my liking. Sodo is comfortable year round but too one dimensional. So Mok (not so HOT)long for me.

Port Sudan. Others all have either too cold lows, too cold winters, too cloudy or are subarctic highland hellholes.

They're all too hot except for Mokhotlong District and Sodo. I picked Sodo because it's not as warm in summer.

I pick Sodo since it's the coolest of the bunch. An honorable mention should go to Mokhotlong, for its winter lows being impressive for an African location (27F in the coldest month).

What about Ascension Island?

My vote goes to it as a neat, A-grade climate though very dry.

Sodo is disgusting.

Probably Ascension Island. Yes that looks a good choice.

Ascension Island

I was going to pick Huambo, but I've seen conflicting rain day data.

Huambo, I cannot stand a climate with no precipitation.
