Both extremely similar in rainfall and temperatures throughout the year, there's not much between them. Which would you prefer?

Darwin, Northern Territory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'd go with Darwin. It has slightly more sunshine hours and being a much smaller place, probably has much better air quality on top of that.

I would go with Bangkok, Thailand!

Damn, I rate Bangkok Thailand's weather/climate an A! So impressive. Perpetual summer, high amount of sunshine while still having lots of precipitation. So cool a city of 8 million exists in this weather/climate.

Darwin, at a pinch.
In reality, I would not entertain the idea of living in either, so Darwin is only marginally better- the lesser of two evils.

Darwin. Sunnier, without filthy large city air. But wouldn't want to be there during the Wet. Lovely in the off-season.

Darwin because the temperatures are slightly cooler in the dry season (and overall, really) than in Bangkok. Neither are desirable to me, though.

Darwin, though not necessarily for its climate...

Darwin is a bit cooler, so I choose that. BUT, Bangkok's beaches are useable (Darwin has too many jellyfish, saltwater crocs and sharks)...it's tough, but since Darwin has cleaner air, I choose Darwin.

Darwin's Dry Season with Bangkok's Wet Season.

Pity they are in opposite hemispheres so Darwin's Dry occurs in Bangkok's Wet.

On the other hand, I would like Darwin's Dry followed by Bangkok's Dry.

Since they ARE so similar, my tiebreaker would be whichever one gets more funderstorms.
