I've heard that they are tall, but that really didn't seem to be the scenario in Spokane or Seattle where I still felt the same as I did in St. Louis at 6'1.5"-6'2", which was really tall to where I was asked about it (they always thought that I was taller 6'4" or taller for some reason as well). I've also heard that they are big in weight, older on average, sailors, attractive and rednecks. Which of these is true?

None. The best generalization available is that they are like most Westerners: polite but take time to get to know, inclined to live and let live and respect privacy, and appreciate the outdoors. None of the stuff you mentioned rings any bells with someone who isn't from Washington, but who lived 39 years there, split almost equally between the wet and dry sides, went to high school and college there, and would be returning if it weren't for our tax situation.

I would start by assuming nothing and form my own impressions from visiting, dismissing those sorts of fairly wild generalizations.

LOL! This is awesome. Don't forget the part about almost all of them have to compensate for deficiencies by driving big trucks...

Except for head size and number of toes, Washingtonians in the southern part of the state resemble northern Oregonians.

Washingtonians in the northern part of the state look exactly like Canadians.

And let's not forget to mention that those in the eastern part of the state all measure 6'3", and all those in the western part are 5'2" tall. I know this because I have a 6'3" friend in Yakima, and I myself am 5'2" living here in the Puget Sound area.
Yes indeed, clichés are a good substitute for the facts!

Increasingly, the average person from Washington (state) is...from somewhere else.

Born-and-breds are still here (I'm one), but you probably wouldn't recognize one if you saw (or heard) one.

Some have normal feet, others have webbed feet. (Which makes them more cautious with the gas pedal while cruising I-5 in their Subaru)
