can anyone let me know how to travel from rockville md to alexandria va.which is faster by car or train in peak hours

During peak hours I would say that it takes about the same amount of time either way.

Default Rockville MD to Alexandria, VA

45 minutes except at the height of either rush hour. Then, the details of which part/neighborhood if each town you are talking about. Both are large areas, but both have Metro stops in the center. If you are going Metro area to Metro area, you could often make it faster by car, but not during peak Rush hours. Off hours will be a breeze, and the drive down the Cabin John ( MD Side of Potomac) or George Washington ( VA side) is calming, and has very few lights.. Again, at the peak hours those parkways are a mess.... off hours they are very nice and 30-45 minutes will get you portal to portal

In the morning, well over an hour. In the PM, a little less, but it varies.
