It's been amazing watching this team evolve. When I moved to the DC area just a few years ago, the Nats were very much an afterthought, but I loved the young team. Going to games was kind of sad at first. Mostly visiting teams fans for most games and small crowds for a metro of 6-8 million.

Call it bandwagon or whatever, but the fans are coming around and it’s neat to see big crowds and DC fans. I think DC will finally ralley around this team and when they do, tickets will become hard to get and more expensive, just like what happened with the Caps.

Being from Kansas City, I’m just enjoying watching a competitive team for once.

I just like that Navy Yard is finally getting a boost from people going down there, don't really care about the team itself, although it is interesting to see DC actually follow a newer team (as a New Yorker, I'm a Yankees fan to the end).

Aside from early season matchups against the Phillies, and interleague matchups against the Yanks and Orioles, I think you'll be able to get game-day tickets every time whether you're looking for the President's club to the nose bleeds.

Nats are really exciting right now and there are still 11,000 unsold tickets in the box office for all but a few matchups that draw 15-20k fans from other teams.

I agree. Nats won't sell out most games next year. Not a chance. Very few baseball teams do that and the Nats aren't even close yet.

Baseball teams don't sell out many games. Silly assertion.

Better get those Washington Mystics season tickets before they sell out like the Nationals It's baseball...in 2012....in a minority-majority area....where a good portion of the residents aren't from here.....

Um, I was trying to give the nats (and their developing fan base) some compliments. Was not meant to be taken so litterally.

Attendance is on the rise though.

There are always many empty seats at Redskins games unless we are playing someone like Pittsburgh. Then the Steelers fill the place.

same with DC United. Another DC team on the rise and once they get their Soccer Specific Stadium built they will be selling out on a regular basis
