Oh don't worry, Hoyer's successor in a few years will run on that, among other progressive proposals, and win in a landslide.

Look at the district and tell me she, or someone similar to her, wouldn't be elected.

The 5th is slated to become the third majority minority district in the state when Hoyer retires. That's why the lines get boogered so much to keep the majority of voters in Prince George's, although with the change in Charles that's not as important as it was.

The same thing is slated for District 27 when Miller leaves the State Senate. Create a majority minority district without having to screw over any current official like they did with Tom McMillen (Albert Wynn) and Murray Levy (CT Wilson).

she would seem to be perfect for Southern Maryland. Prison rights are important to people there.
