I'd skip the hour wait for a free cone and with the time saved enjoy 2 heady toppers

They brought their truck to my work yesterday so we didn't have to go to a shop.

Lucky. I saw they brought the truck to the Children's Hospital and some social services agencies, too.

One of my best memories of Tropical Storm Irene was walking through Waterbury the Monday after the storm on a work assignment and seeing the truck pull up to where dozens of people were shifting through their mud-covered possessions. Everyone got a cone and I think as simple as it was, it gave everyone hope when they needed it most.

You are so right. We were staying at our friends in that town and although their house was fortunately not flooded, many other homes of their friend's were. Something so simple and classic as an ice cream cone really did seem to give everyone hope as everyone banded together to help.
