The forecast graph for here (Brattleboro) says 94 degrees-yes, 94 degrees-this afternoon.
That's pretty significant/extreme for this locale, oh my.
Fortunately, it cools off to the 60's at night, and by Monday it's predicted to be back down into the reasonable 70's.
There should be a sweating emoticon (am only half-joking), as that's what I would use to illustrate this post.

Okay, then-it was 95 degrees out today when I went out, saw it on the bank clock's external display.
Wouldn't have believed it, had I not seen it myself.
Really, ninety-five
Ninety-five !

That's why I live here-bc. if it were any hotter, I'd disintegrate into soup.
Yet, during winter, if it were any colder (than it gets), I'd become permafrost.
Thus, I find VT a happy medium (climate-wise) between those extremes that exceed my capacity to endure.
Which is no disrespect to anyplace else, merely my personal/individual take on it.

Today's forecast (for Brattleboro area) high is 87 (heat index 89) at 4 p.m.
Storms are supposed to come along & shake things up later tonight.
Tomorrow is predicted to stay below 80 degrees (thankfully !).
