I been on the LA Orange Line and I would call it "BRT". Not without its flaws but still BRT. It's funny because the busway system here in Brisbane gets "silver" while the orange line gets bronze and I can't figure out why. I'm guessing it's because the orange line isn't fully grade separated . . . but the off-board fare collection of the orange line, IMO, should equalize that. Not to mention the fact that the Orange Line is inherently more legible than the Brisbane busways.

Anyway, I've never been to Eugene or Nantes nor am I familiar with the operations there . . . I'm not trying to argue either way for Nantes I was just trying to explain why some people quibble about the use of "BRT".
