Yeah, Sluggo's turn. The reason for the clue is that they were both built on Canadian shield rock, with lakes and forests quite close to downtown.

This one is borderline ridiculous. College town, US. Population ~100,000, metro double that.

Yes, that IS the skyline.

It is. The Texas flag is a Photoshop add-in, but yes, is Las Cruces.
