Nice photos Scotslass. Last time I was in Glasgow was 1999 (yikes), but I had a great time there and really loved the city. I was in Boston not too long ago and oddly enough, it reminded me of Glasgow a bit.

Nice pics Scotslass. Buchanan Street is fair hoaching with people. Shame you didn't get any of the inside of Princess Sq.

Rogano doesn't just do oysters. You can get a great lunch there washed down with a nice cold glas of white wine.

We were in Glasgow last week for my daughter's graduation. But didn't take any street shots.

Kin hell, last time i was in Glasgow, was the overnight train in 1988 . from Manchester piccadilly, stopped in Bolton ,where about 400 hardened thugs got on the train
got to Glasgow at 5:30 am, found a boozer open in the Barrowlands district.
the rest is deepened in football violence history.
5 stabbed, one jock shot...and the English rampaging all over Glasgow.

What a experience that day was.........

Reminds me of a Scotland v England game late 60s or early 70s at Hampden. Some English skinheads were causing trouble outside the Rangers end just before the end of the game. Then the final whistle went and 30,000 people came flooding down the stairways towards the street. Never have I seen people run as fast as those skinheads

I had to postpone a trip there this summer due to the sour economy...Thanks for the rubbing salt in the wounds!

Nice photos BTW.

One day I'll make it over...
