They are loyal, Royal Subjects.

Next ridiculous question.

The Nose is not pleased with this question.

My paternal ancestry is lowland scots and living in County Antrim, that has stuck with me and is a large part of my being. My maternal ancestry is English, which is not as common in my area

Now for another question.

Where are the English, Scottish, and Welsh from?

I have indeed often pointed that out in other contexts.

Yet as we are at relative peace on the Isles I decree that anyone can be from wherever they want to be from.

Would love to know that myself; seems there are plenty of good answers to that question if one looks at human migrations over the last several thousand years.
Having ancestry from all three it would be intriguing to have a better understanding on that.

All basically Bronze Age populations just like the Irish. Bell Beaker who have left the most dominant genetic imprint on all those populations down to the present day.

Genetically they are all very much the same which is kind of ironic looking at how some groups treated others in the past.

Northern Irish, not Irish. I wouldn't really say British, after living in Britain and realising how different their morals and societal norms are (especially England). Maybe that's just because i'm a university student, I don't know.

But definitely a distinct culture and I don't think English people can somehow comprehend this. They think they're "Irish".
