The problem with the British police is that their upper management are stuck in the "Bobby on the beat"/"Dixon of Dock Green" era of the 1950s and are slow to adapt to the changing world.

One big problem with moving to American type policing, it means complete American type methods and arming.
Being yelled at to assume the position by shotgun totting copper was some thing new.
Then just look at the numbers of dead bodies that litter the street after firearms are used by the police in American riots.

Better to use the army in the UK if force beyond that capable of being handed out by too often dwarf coppers of 5' 2" is needed.
If rioters want to play big boys games fine, send the Paras and Royal Marines in with pick handles, not tiny female cops who have no chance in a brawl.

You clearly know nothing about Bratton's type of policing, why he has been effective in the US nor have you read or understood previous posts.

You need to quit watching TV shows and get a grip on reality dude. You have no idea how any police act in the US. Your two posts that I have bothered to have read have been something straight out of CSI or something.
