The $25 increase is per week, $50 issued bi-weekly is a separate deposit or check.

Hi. When did you get your extension letter? After the last standard UI benefits check or before? Thank you.

Hi I need informative help about filing a partime unemployment benefit in Texas. I work part time retail and average 29.5 or more hours per week however in the past month my boss has drastically cut my hours and I am now only getting about 17 hrs a week, next week I have only 12 hours.

I started to file online for unemployment but as I went along i could not see a partial benefit section to put information in, I never make 500.00 or more bi weekly and I am over the age of 40 can someone please advise me on how to file a partial benefit I will be homeless soon if this cut in my wages continue.

I am a Texas Part-time employee for a very well known company. I was told that my time will be changing by 2 hours. In other words my hours currenty are 1-630 but, it is changing to 3-830. I can not work these hours due to my other job. I am wondering was is the law on how many hours can they change to your schedule. There are 4 of us that the hours are changing and all of us are in agreement about not being able to work these new hours the company wants us to work.

Did you quit over this? If not, were you just hoping for partial benefits? You'll only be eligible for partial benefits if your gross earnings are less than your weekly benefit amount.

Probably. I'm assuming you worked enough time in the past 18 months to be eligible. File the claim immediately.
