I am in PA.
My hours were reduced from 40 to 32.
I filed on 3/24, received letter on 4/7 saying claim was processed and received my PIN.
Never received a financial determination letter.
Filed bi-weekly claim Sunday 4/12 for weeks 3/28 and 4/4.
Gross pay was about $700 each week.
Have received NO deposit to my account yet. (I am signed up for direct deposit)
I do not know what my weekly benefit rate even is. I used an online calculator and it said my weekly benefit rate is $525. I'm not sure how accurate it was.
Will I get anything if I still made $700/week?
I can't seem to figure out how much I can make and still get partial benefits.
I wish they would send my financial determination letter already!
It seems you can barely earn anything to get a partial benefit.
not fair... I am losing a decent amount of pay from the reduced hours and all my accumulated overtime.
I almost want to lose another 8 hours a week to be able to collect!
Where a claimant works less than his full-time hours through no fault of his own, the claimant may be potentially eligible to receive full or partial benefits, depending on his gross earnings and Partial Benefit Credit (PBC). A claimant's PBC is the amount equal to 30 percent of his Weekly Benefit Rate (WBR). Where a claimant is working less than his full-time hours and his gross earnings for a week are equal to or less than the PBC, the claimant's full WBR is payable for the week. When the claimant's gross earnings for a week exceed the PBC, the gross earnings are deducted from the sum of the WBR plus PBC to determine the amount of any partial benefits for which the claimant may be eligible.
Would you qualify for the $600 extra for 4 months? I thought that was a fixed amount that you are entitled to as long as your benefit amount is at least $1.

Supposedly I am getting $0 unemployment because I gross too much a week working 32 hours.
I would like my hours reduced more so I can get the $600/wk
Need to be making less than $450 per week from reduced hours
How did you calculate this amount?
