I filed for Unemployment on 3/15/20. Completed Fact Finding Questionnaire on 3/26/20. Everytime I check the website or call in, it says “filed” but when I certify each week since 3/26 it says “claim not payable at this time”. Does anyone else have experience with this? How long is the wait between questionnaire and a determination?

Do you find out final determination online or by regular mail? The wait has been killing me, please help!!!

Background: I left previous employer on Temporary Disability for an injury related to work. Finally rehabbed after 8 months on 3/1/20. Separated by job in January to fill open spot.

Thank you!
William

only way i found out my case was being paid out was by calling once a week or twice a week . the website normaly shows any claims paid out but it takes 1 or 2 days to refresh

i filled my case on jan 3rd and i never got my claim payments untill feb 3rd . also check your email or anything in case you have an e-adjunction . my hopeful guess is you will get paid starting next week or the week after

if you really need to call in . call the number at 8:30 AM exactly

Did you send back Notice of New Information Form back to NJ Temporary Disability stating that you recovered from disability and/or that you had returned to work? If you didn't that might be hanging you up for UI claim. It has to be closed out through TDI.

I just finished taking Temporary Disability or Family Leave Insurance and now I’m eligible for Unemployment. I tried to apply for Unemployment online but it says that I already have a claim open with zero balance.

Please notify the Temporary Disability / Family Leave Insurance division by sending a message via their online form. We are working with the Unemployment Insurance division to find a solution to this technical issue. Please note we are experiencing very high volume due to the coronavirus emergency, but we’re working diligently to serve all our customers and ask for your patience. We understand your frustration and we apologize.

Thank you for your responses.

My claim does show a dollar amount for weekly and total benefits, and I filled out an -e-adjudication about leaving my most recent job due to disability on 3/26.

I submitted the form you sent, but my TDI ran out fully in December after six months and haven’t received any forms or anything from them since, I assumed it was just over.

How long after e-adjudication have people been waiting?

You wouldn't hear anything back from TDI after sending in the form. Did you send that form in back in December? or just last night through online? that form they mail you out early on in the TDI claim. You're supposed to know to fill it out any time a change of information (such as recovered from disability, returned to work, address change etc.)
