I has skipped my weekly claim, it was simply due to the Thanksgiving week and forgetting to file the weekly claim when I normally do.
So when I do file my weekly claim this week, I get a message saying I need to reopen my claim. I had previously not filed for my weekly claim in the past and not had any issue when I claimed again the following week so naturally I am panicking a bit.
Has anyone had experience with this before?

Most states close a claim when no benefit has been paid for a week. So far, it sounds like a routine closing. Reopening online won't help until you talk to a rep b/c NJ will want to know what you didn't claim the previous week. Call NJ directly.
Thanks.
I find it odd because I've skipped weeks in the past and had no issue.
