I called into my area re-employment call center to ask about what steps I need to do because my benefit year ends on 7/19. So the first thing she asks me is why did I call in today? I said well to ask about the benefit year end date. She laughs and says no you are truing to get paid early. I said no, actually my call in date is on 7/15 and she said I was wrong. Meanwhile im staring right at my unemployment claim for benefits paper that says claim weeks ending 7/3 and 7/10 on 7/15. So she says she is going to process my claim for me and a bunch of other stuff that I really could not understand. Broken english etc. I did not need her to process my claim, i do it online. How can I check if the rep processed my claim. It took literally 4 hours to get through to unemployment today. Could I just go to file as usuall tomorrow morning and if it's filed will it give me an error screen or something?

Anyone? What's the worst that would happen if I go to file tomorrow and the weekly claim was already processed? I'm sure I would see a notice when I try to file? Correct?

I'd assume so - it wouldn't let you file again for the same week/weeks
