I wish they would bring this back. I mean after all they are bringing back Boys Meets World(in a sense).

The fact that F&G was cancelled after 18 episodes and That 70s Show went on and on and on...

Also keep in mind that NBC (Except for Saturday mornings) will always go after the older crowds.

If you liked Freaks & Geeks, check out Undeclared, another Apatow TV show that was cancelled too soon. A lot of the F&G cast members show up in a few episodes.
