You're right about some foreigners losing their accents. I stand corrected.
About Melanie - yep, it's the same clown face making actress. Can't say how long she was away, but it wasn't long enough.

Seriously, how hard can it be for the DOOL brass to tell "Melanie" to stop looking like she's drying her teeth. WTH?!

That show must spend a fortune on hair extensions. Love Nicole's short sassy do but it seems like every other actress has ridiculous extensions.

...or wigs.

I noticed Jennifer's chin-length bob a couple months ago. Next day, it was long and boring again. Or maybe the bob was her real hair...

I'm sure it was her real hair just tightly turned under.

He did seem to remind me of Nick the first time I saw him. I thought - Gee Chad, weren't you taller and with brown eyes before?

I'm not sure what you mean, but I think she's a poor actress. Like with her timing - she either anticipates cues, or reacts to something a second or so too late to seem real.
But the actor who plays Paul is pretty convincing the way he doesn't take his eyes off of Will.
And Eve put on a very good show of self-disgust right after her second romp with JJ. Was the makeup dept involved, or did she naturally turn red?

One thing which cracks me up is the constant use of people running smack dab into each other....in the hospital while somebody is carrying files (please... nobody carries paper files any more) or in that town square. It's getting old.

The entire town square idea is a joke, anyway. Same with "the park." It's obligatory that every soap have a park that just happens to be within walking distance of everyone's home and place of employment.
