I like Marvin the Martian! Also Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck... (One of my all time favorite cartoons is "Duck Amuck", when Bugs is messing with Daffy's scenery the entire time and getting him into all kinds of trouble.)

I'm surprised no one mentioned Freakazoid. I *loved* him! I enjoyed all of the jokes about Spielberg, etc.

RoadRunner(Beep Beep)Bugs Bunny,Smokey the bear,Flintstones...Has any one seen adult swim on cartoonnetwork,It is suppose to be cartoon channel but around 10 or 11 p.m They start showing adult swim which is a vulgar nasty show filled with sex acts, nudity,violence,cussing...My grandson used to watch it and loved it until we realized this cartoon channel was porno for an 8 yr old.I know 11 is late but not in the summer.

My #1 favorite has to be Garfield... he's been one of my heroes since childhood, lol. I also like Heathcliff, Strawberry Shortcake (does she count?), the Jetsons & Flinstones, Scooby Doo, and Inspector Gadget. Can you tell I was a child of the '80s?

Yes, I watch Adult Swim occasionally with my friends (mostly the guys)... fyi, Adult Swim is the name for that whole block of shows, not just one. I'm not crazy about most of their cartoons, but Aqua Teen Hunger Force is pretty darn hilarious. And of course it's not appropriate for a child, hence the "adult" part of the title... I don't mean that to sound snarky, just in defense of the channel!

P.S. I forgot to add Cartman from South Park & Homer Simpson to my list of favorites!

I forgot about the Jetsons & Heathcliff. I used to watch them daily and the flinstones.
My sister watched inspector gadget daily and I hated it. I probably hated it because she was older so she always got to watch what she wanted to first.

LOL... yeah, my sister & I used to make our little brother watch stuff too. That's why Garfield is also his favorite character, since I was always in control of the TV. But we did give him a few - like Power Rangers, Transformers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Weren't we nice??
