Just another reason to continue to avoid watching this train wreck. So far, the list of host is limited to Whoopie (the angry black woman comedian) and Rosie (the angry lesbian comedian). The show started off great back when the host included Meredith and Lisa Ling. After they left, it's been all down hill. CBS's The Talk copied the original View format and is much more entertaining to watch and I'm a guy saying this. While I don't agree with everything they say, they aren't so angry, hateful, bitter, screeching, and talking over each other constantly the way The View became.
This just confirms the reason why I will never watch the view. I can't stand rosie and her not being there was not the reason they are hurting. They might as well cancel the show.

I won't watch anything rosie O is on.. They would be better off having Roseanne barr on........
Ugg, I love The View for some light afternoon entertainment. I stopped watching it when Rosie was on it before. Something about that woman irritates me to no end - just like Roseanne Barr.
Now I have absolutely no reason to watch the show. I don't know why the show developers believe that Whoopi is an authority on anything and I cannot tolerate Rosie.
I hate that Rosie became so angry and irritating. Back when she had her own talk show, she was more lighthearted and fun. Much more tolerable. (well, at least until that infernal doll came out)
You know this woman used to be half way tolerable when she was in the movie : a league of their own she was very good in it and so was Madonna , what happened to both of them ? they got successful but they became snobs and rich . I liked them better when they were young and starving and now cannot stand either one of them or any of those biter hacks on the view ' It should have been titled the view our way ....
I'm Not Concerned, women will always watch this show no matter who's on it!
It's what I call a, "get away show for women". Think Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil, known Con-artist but women will always watch them because they want to believe their lives will get better.
Rosie has a way of smiling that looks like she's sneering at people, just don't care for her.
