Wife Swap. My husband hates the show but I absolutely love it. I always feel like Wife and Mother of the Year after watching it. Horrible of me to admit I know, but those people are so extreme!!

I like Wife Swap but often wonder why anyone would want to be on it anymore? If you have seen it, it is clear you will go into a home with a man and kids that is the absolute opposite of all you treasure, like, enjoy or live with normally, and likewise your husband will get the wife from hell. Then you have no control over what is done with the money. I would think they would have a hard time even getting people to apply, but I guess not.

So basically going on Wife Swap is admitting that your wife is a wife from hell.

And there will always be people available to apply for reality shows.

My favorite one is The Amazing Race. I enjoy watching the American Idol auditions, but the rest of the show has gotten so bad lately that I don't bother watching it anymore. Surprisingly, I actually kind of like Wife Swap...it's interesting. I also quite enjoy Ghost Hunters (and its obvious twin, Destination Truth, which isn't quite as good but still enjoyable). Other than that, I haven't found a reality show I enjoy.

Like many others said
1. Dealiest Catch
2. Mythbusters
3. Dirty Jobs
4. American Chopper
5. American Hot Rod
6. Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern
7. No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain

Don't know if they are all really reality shows but these are my favorites. Can't wait to see what Andrew Zimmern will eat this week .

I wouldn't watch any of this crap, but almost forgot that I suppose shows like "Cops" and "Wildest Police Chases" qualify as reality TV. So while I watch sporadically and rarely watch TV beyond news and weather, I suppose I'm guilty too.
While channel surfing few weeks ago, I came across some cooking contest where a woman was deciding to eliminate a cook. The tension...you could slice the air with a kitchen knive! Then came the announcement..."Maria, please pack your knives and leave." Good god, please tell me people only see the humor in this. If this is seen as compelling drama, it is high time to mandate some stay far away from a voting booth and town meetings.
