The only time I noticed not having coverage was when I went to Colossal Cave a few weeks ago. I'm not a big phone person, though.

If you're only worried about reception at the UofA then go with anyone. The reception in that area is great with any company.

I lived in grad housing facing Euclid, and I had to talk on the phone by the window most times. In a class that I teach, I get no reception but my students seem to get it fine (they're allowed to use their phones before class).

I was hoping when I moved again I'd have better reception. I really don't want to change my carrier.

Default At&T

This is going on for too long about how At&T is bad in service, but their is nothing but you can equip yourself with your own cell phone signal booster which makes us think that if only the phone company can get their act together, we maaay be getting some worth for all the two your contract and signing your life away.

Anyone have Cricket? I'm with Verizon now and have been for about 15 years. I'm getting sick of their expenses, contracts, etc. I'd really like to go w/a non-contract plan, and Cricket seems the most reasonable. Just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone has any experience w/them.

Good questions, mdtoaz.

I've heard Boost Mobile offers better service for about the same price with no catches.
