I used to have AT&T and it sucked. I used several different phones over a few years, including an iPhone. Lots of dropped calls and areas with no service. Customer service was pretty bad. It took about 6 months for them to get my employee discount correct.

We switched to Sprint a few months ago. The family plan for two Blackberries was the best bargain out there as far as contract prices go. We have 1500 minutes, unlimited multimedia and internet, unlimited texts and navigation for a decent amount less than Verizon or AT&T. Our free evening weekends also start at 7:00 instead of 9:00 at no extra cost, which is nice. We've received rebates and referral money quickly. They got my discount right the first time. I haven't had any billing issues and customer service has been great. The phone works everywhere in town and also out in the boonies. We drove all over during our first 30 days to make sure it would work just about everywhere.

I had Verizon a long time ago and I wasn't that impressed. They cost more and I still had dropped calls, billing issues and crappy customer service.

I forgot to add that Sprint also has Any Mobile minutes now for no extra cost. That means you can call or receive calls from any mobile phone with any carrier at any time and it doesn't use your minutes.

I pay about $110 a month. That is including my 15% employer (government) discount. You can check to see if your employer would qualify you for a discount. Without the discount it is $129.99 a month. Remember that navigation is included and that is something that Verizon charges extra for. AT&T might also charge extra. Other carriers also charge extra for free weeknight minutes starting at 7:00.

Unbelivable how expensive cell phone services are. $130 bucks a month is crazy! My T-Mobile is a 59.90 plan but comes out to like 85 with all the BS taxes and fees. What a scam. I think I'll go back to morse or smoke signals....
