I need to get a keyboard and flat screen monitor for my laptop. Can anyone recommend a store that might have better prices than Best Buy? Thanks!

Not in Tucson, Nambis, but I get lots of e-mail alerts for both of those items.

IF you are interested in used stuff try Comp Tech on North Stone
Place is only open from 11-2 Tues-Sat! But lots of used keyboards, monitors etc. I've known Gary for 20 years he will treat you fair. If you want new you can try Frys Electronics online or take a trip up to Tempe and go to the store. I have used their online service and have been very pleased with their service, even on a return as well as many trips up to this electronic toy store. :-)

SWS on Speedway. They are by far the cheapest computer store in town - for cables, built computers, monitors, keyboards, etc. They often have used computer equipment. And if you need some advice, their employees actually know what they are talking about. Check them out.

P.S. I forgot to mention the university surplus sale. There is one coming up on Sept. 4th. They sell all kinds of stuff, including used computer equipment. You can take a look here: https://uaauctions.arizona.edu/

I once successfully used the Comp Tech on North Stone that Rick mentioned. It was recommended to me by the person I hired to fix a major computer problem. She said she usually uses Newegg and sent me there to upgrade RAM, but recommended Comp Tech as a local dealer for a discontinued part I needed.

I've always found the absolute best price on new monitors and keyboards is from Office Depot or Staples. Sure they are having some killer labor day sales. A 20" LCD is now around $99 and if all you want is a regular USB keyboard, should be around $15. I picked up a wireless keyboard/mouse combo at Costco or BJ's for $17 about a month ago.

If you want used, look on Craigslist. The used value of that stuff is next to nothing.
