One other point. The big fishing lakes are closer to Phoenix than Tucson but they still aren't what I'd call real close.

No problem I enjoy helping and answering questions nonetheless. I have lots of relo information available whether renting or buying. Most people coming here are renting first, which is smart, prices are not rising anyway and it gives one the opportunity to learn the area before taking the plunge. Rental market is fairly tight here, if it is priced right it will be gone fairly quickly. My sister put her place on Craigs List (1200 month, 1600sf in NW Tucson)and had three rental offers in the first weekend. If you see a place you like grab it. All the foreclosure and short sale homeowners are now renters. Enjoy your visit to the Old Pueblo!
