Recently I interviewed serial killer Timothy Wayne "TK" Krajcir for a book I am writing. He is currently serving (17) consecutive life terms for raping and killing seven women in four states, over a span of nine years in the 1970s. He evaded authorities as the forensic DNA equipment we now have available in investigations was not yet in use then.
In a controlled environment (prison), sitting across the table from this homicidal maniac, what would you ask?

Almeida93, He was a very intelligent, but arrogant person. He tried to turn the tables on the interview several times. However, the most interesting was when he attacked me with his words expecting a reaction and I did not react the way he expected. Then I was able to pry him open with a picture of his daughter, whom he has never met. It will all be detailed in an Anthology I am working on with several other true crime authors, True Crime Serial Killers Anthology, due out this fall.
SMXGirl, you are right, no remorse, no regrets. At one point he was fabricating his responses to appease the possible readers from the parole board who may read his story. BTW-This guy loves media attention.
Parker, there were several interviews that lasted 1-2 hours each. First we began corresponding by mail. It was a very long process. I was not nervous as I knew we were going to be in a controlled environment, but I did wonder how I would feel had we been left alone together, which by the way never happened.
Dane, how did you really feel sitting there with him? Were guards watching? Any apprehension or disgust on your part; and, if so, how did that affect you?
Cindiana, the inmate/serial killer was motivated specifically by sex. He was a sexual predator and a rapist. That was his only alleged "why". His past history involved deviate sexual fantasies, which included his mother.
Do you want to know what we'd ask the serial killer, or what we'd ask you?
