They also don't believe that their mother was murdered despite the fact that her skull injuries couldn't have been caused by a fall. Apparently they want to keep their heads buried in the sand.

For those that don't want to read the article (or it may not be available), he entered an Alford plea and maintained his innocence.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alford_plea
"whereby a defendant in a criminal case does not admit to the criminal act and asserts innocence. In entering an Alford plea, the defendant admits that the evidence the prosecution has would be likely to persuade a judge or jury to find the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt."

Thank you Don, I was wondering why he would confess. I thought he'd be too arrogant to do that.

Please forgive me if I wasn't clear. For those not able/willing to read the link, Peterson did indeed cop an Alford plea. This is not a "confession" per se, but the courts consider it equivalent to a guilty plea. The bottom line is that he's now free on time served.

You were perfectly clear, I was in a hurry and didn't click the link.

Watch out ladies, he's back on the market!

Lol. From what we've learned about Peterson, the gentlemen should be equally cautious!

I believe he is guilty. I remember watching that trial and reading about the other woman that died from a 'fall' down the stairs.

Sad that he will live free.

Right at that moment the Judge should have set Mike free.
