I have a lot of experience with the Garmin Nuvi 350. I am also familiar with their model 660. Both are superb units. I've traveled thousands of miles using my Nuvi 350 and never needed a paper map. Once you've tried one you'll never travel without a well designed GPS unit.
I have 3 Garmins, Street 330 and the hand held 60CS and the hand held Garmin 40LX. I have used several other brands and find that Garmin is still the best. Now, for off road, Garmin is alittle behind the times by only offering the Topo USA in 1:1000 scale. when everyone else offers it in 1:24 scale. Maybe they will catch up soon. But, to make my point, You will be happy with any Garmin unit you buy. About the service, I have had good and bad in dealing with them. More good than bad.................................... Woodzman
