My boyfriend and i get to take one vacation a year, when our plant is shut down in December. Since it is a holiday everything is sky high PLUS the Christmas expenses we are already spending. Can anyone tell us please how to get a free or very cheap vacation from timeshare with entertainment packages?
Although I hate the timeshare hard-sell and won't go to another one, I know several people that do this on a regular basis and get some pretty good deals. You just have to know how to say "NO" when the pressure is on to buy!
You might check around for specials for Las Vegas. There are some special discounts for flights, hotels, and entertainment that normally can be found. Usually they want you to stay two or three days or more. Casinos always want your business and will have nice packages to use.

My parents have friends who do this every year! They get a free vacation and recieve free tv's and other things for just coming to the presentation. They always say NO when the time comes though.you have to be strong. We went to one 2 years ago in San Diego, they said it would be 90 minutes. It ended being 3 hours. We bought it then cancelled when we got home. They are pushy, when they think you are going to walk out they bring in the "heavy hitter" the super pushy salesperson. We got tired of the BS so my husband caved. When we walked out I said we have to cancel that. We did.
He wanted the free tickets they were giving for the presentation.
One caveat: when we went to Mexico we were warned of the timeshare salesmen. Sure enough, in the shopping area we were offered a Mexican blanket and a bottle of tequila if we would go "check out their new resort, so next time we might want to stay there". This was how they lured you to the timeshare sales pitch. The problem was, they took you in THEIR vehicle and returned you at THEIR convenience, thus ruining a whole day of your vacation! We politely refused the gifts and were not bothered anymore.
