I'm Hilton Honors member, so I tend to go for their properties (Garden Inn, Doubletree). However, when I go to NYC I'll usually use Priceline and go for the lowest possible rate I can get.

Interesting. So my distinctive home, in a top notch suburb, would not be good enough for you? It does not have 5 (self catered), 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and is not in a gated community.

I can sleep anywhere, so I opt for the absolute cheapest option and consider it good enough.

I prefer serviced apartments where available. Residence Inns are also nice. Note, I prefer places like these as they typically have full kitchens, which saves me a lot on meals!
