For crying out loud. Lay off. I was trying to be helpful. So effing sorry.
Aww c'mon, I'm just trying to have a little fun (see the smiley?). Albeit at your expense. This is one of the reasons Europeans usually think Americans are pretty dumb though... when we presume that their dialect is a novelty and ours is a skill to be mastered.

Consider it laid off now.
I didn't make that presumption. I assumed that an 18 year old might never have been to the US, and might not be aware of some of the different words that we use.
I've been to America before. We use Gallons etc here there isn't really that much to learn lol.
Not that it matters much at all, but US gallons aren't Irish/English/Imperial Gallons...
An Imperial Gallon is 4.54 L - defined as the volume of 10 lb of water.
A US gallon is 3.785 L / 231 cubic inches.
There are still 4 quarts per gallon. And 2 pints per quart. But an Imperial pint is 20 oz. An American pint is only 16 oz. So an Imperial gallon has 160 oz, while an American gallon is 128 oz.

ooops. I guess my previous suggestion about the Mons Venus club in Tampa doesn't apply here then.
