As a current owner of a 2008 Highlander V6.....DO NOT get the 4 cylinder.

I test drove one and it's pokey as heck for such a tiny difference in MPG.

The V6 gives the highlander some solid power and performance.

With some of the short merges and traffic around here I'd be nervous driving something as underpowered as the 4cyl.
