Can anyone tell me about the neighborhood N. of Erie, W. of Main, E. of Centennial? The northernmost street is Grenlock, then there's the Michigan border. Thanks, all.

The Toledo crime/neighborhood discussion is quite interesting.

The area you're talking about in Sylvania is completely fine. It's completely safe, and Sylvania schools are very good. It's mostly all newer style suburban housing developments, but its not drab or anything. Highland Meadows golf course holds the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic competition and that draws tons of people to the immediate neighborhood with cars parked all up and down the road, residents even charge people like dozens of dollars to park in their front yards. Also, down at the corner of Erie and Centennial is Centennial Quarry/Centennial Terrace. It's the same place, Centennial Terrace is a popular outdoor concert venue and theres always events going on there attracting lots of people. And the quarry there is a popular swimming spot. Just a tiny bit past Centennial, on Erie is Pacesetter Park which is popular for little league soccer and the like. Down Erie closer to downtown, at the corner of Erie and Maplewood is a small public park and public pool as well.

Also at the corner of Erie and Centennial is Mayberry Square and its basically a tiny little psuedo- town center with some little shops and restaurants. And right along Main St at the opposite end of the area you described is the actual historic Downtown Sylvania. The downtown is small but nice and theres several different places to eat and what not. It's nice. All of these things would be within an easy bike ridea distance or even walk depending on where you're at.

^^Thanks, Tobias. Lots of detail there.

There's the old Dana 2 1/4 mile test track right across the border. And the Nice Car Company is not far either.
