Hello Native Texans, what part of the state were you born in?. I am Native Texan who was born in the Metroplex.However, I have been living in West Texas for quite some time now.

2nd generation Dallasite. My mother was also born here but lived all over Texas and Louisiana as her father was a salesman.

I was born in West Texas and live there now, but most of family is from East Texas and are scattered around the state now.

Longview. Most of childhood spent in East Texas. Graduated from rural metroplex high school and have lived in Metroplex ever since. Unless its somewhere close to Kerrville or San Marcos, I don't think I could live in a small town.
