Well I've never heard McClennan county referred to as North Texas, and I can't find any definition that describes it as such.

Here ya go: North Texas Small Business Development Center Network.

Plus a whole lot of others that refer to McLennan County along with other "North Texas counties".

Lol okay, well wikipedia calls it Central Texas. And around town you can see things titled "Central Texas..." And I think it's safe to say that most people consider it CT.

Waco, to me is just culturally closer to Temple and Belton than Dallas. Waco does look more like North Texas, though.

One better inform the radio and television stations that Waco isn't central Texas because for as long as I've lived in Texas, Waco has been referred to as such.
