Now if you drive to the tracks and park on a up-hill...on the tracks, turn off your engine, turn off your lights, put the car in neutral. Your car will go over the tracks and stop safely on the other side.

Some have said that they put baby powder on the truck and inspect the car after, and see little hand prints.

I live a block away from the VICTORIA BLACK SWAN INN, a popular place for weddings along the Salado Creek. It has been featured a number of times on the "real life" cable ghost shows. I've never seen anything there, but I have seen a number of strange things along the creek over the years.

A number of older downtown SA hotels and locations have a "documented" history of ghost sightings also.

Why is there no mention of the Marfa Lights?

In Amarillo, there used to be a Summet Elementary on the Boulivard. It was supposedly was the scene of the murder of 2 kids. now AISD uses it for storage.
In St. Marys school, after the janitor has left, (About 11:00-11-30 am,) 3 years ago, My mother saw lights that were on in classrooms. she heard steps and voices. That school is the oldest school that is still in use in the panhandle (Est. 1913)
The Nat is an old bar located on old route 66. You can still hear the faint echos of Big Band music.

The harrington hotel is supposedly haunted.

Default House Ruins - Galveston Texas

I took a mini tour around Galveston today. Does anyone know anything about the ruins on Harborside Dr between 14th and 15th street. They are stone and have a fence around them. You can see stairs and some windows. Google maps says that its approximate address is 1416 Harborside Dr. I am just curious - it is awesome! I have searched the internet and haven't found anything! Any information would be helpful.

Thanks!

The Menger Hotel is well known throughout the world of "American Hauntings". It has been featured in the travel channel before, as with many other Texas Hauntings.

It is really fancy, yet very creepy. Stay away from the third floor.

I think the San Antonio Railroad ghost story has been debunked.

San Antonio, TX - Ghostly Gravity Hill

San Antonio's ghost children.

I also saw a TV show that tested and debunked this "haunted" site.

The Driskill Hotel on 6th St in Austin is supposed to be a hot spot. And Goiad has the Presidio La Bahia that is rumored to be haunted.

The hulk of the old Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells looks like it should be haunted, although I don't believe in such things. It was a splendid place when I was a child in the 1950s...it breaks my heart to see it now, sitting there with all its broken windows and dry swimming pool.
