The most romantic city in Texas has to be San Antonio, hands-down.

That being said, if you had to pick Houston or Dallas I'd pick Houston... because it has several venues with settings on the bayou (such as Rainbow Lodge and Vargo's), or you could always take a yacht out in the bay area.

I guess, if you call standing there within the gaps of your less than stellar skyline, losing five pounds from the humidity on your seriously unathletic very obese body, waiting for the bus on your long commute home from your minimum wage job is romantic, then yes Dallas and Houston are very romantic cities.


Just being funny by the way,...but to answer the original OP's question,..absolutely Not , neither city is romantic in my eyes.

Given the Cowboys' White House scandal back in the 90s, I would have to say Dallas. However Urban Cowboy did wonders for Houston's romantic image.
