false.
they may not be as tall as Houston's. But to say Dallas is treeless is false.

Dallas isn't treeless, but it doesn't have as many trees as Houston. Houston has tall pines, too, where Dallas' trees are shorter.

The only things false in Dallas are the attitudes, boobs and blondes

ROFL..and out in the sticks, they erect a 4000 square foot house on 5 acres, turn native pasture into a sodded manicured front lawn and then 6 months later put their "estate home" up on the market for 600+K in a 150K area surrounded with farmers.

Folks need to research what "living in the country" means..it's more than cheap land prices.

I live in Plano and I'm rich! We paid $150 for our house. It is 4000 square feet. Both floorplans in our neighborhood have fancy red brick. When we eat at Chipolte or Olive Garden we talk about how bad people in poor Dallas have it. They eat at non-chain restaurants! Poor saps.

Uh oh, is that a black person? In MY neigborhood? I'm moving to Prosper. I don't feel safe if I can't see a cow pasture. And white people.

Anybody want to buy a "used" house?

Yes. That was upgrade 10-495.8 from Grande-Fancy WASP Manor Homes, LP, Inc. Holding Company. The upgrade also includes gold plated faucets. It increased my house value by a dollar!

I don't think anyone who lives in that poor city of Dallas has ever even seen something so fancy! We're rich!

Sorry to say it but the only thing to do in Dallas is to ride their extensive light rail and, dining, and going shopping at the mall. Westend is a short, boring outdoor walk and Victory is just really something you just go to look at. I wouldn't eat there because that would empty my wallet.

Now when i'm in Houston, i have the choice of going shopping, dining, Kemah Boardwalk, shopping in the ethnic districts, and the beach. Pretty soon, Houston will have a Central like Park downtown, Main Street/Market Street, and Houston Pavilions all within a short walk of eachother. Most of the time when i visit texas and take my friends to both Dallas and Houston, they're astounded by how much more developed Houston is.

Dallas just feels like a neighborhood with a few skyscrapers and shopping malls. It feels like my hometown of Colorado Springs!

I guess you don't know Dallas too well. Besides, is Kemah in Houston now?
