I'm pretty sure your trip would absolutely be ruined if you didn't pop in every once in a while to express your unhealty obsession for Dallas right?!!

J/k

I will pay people to do it for me. And when I get back, please tell me how much Dallas has tried to catch up with Houston

The only thing Dallas has to catch houston in is the sheer number of ugly buildings everywhere.

That is another reason I prefer Dallas. The whole Atlanta, Houston tree thing. When I live in a big city I like to not feel like I'm in the woods. NYC, Miami, Chicago, SF, LA, etc. are all very large cities with minimal tree coverage. It just feels more urban with less trees. When you get out to the DFW burbs and the prairie land is rolling with development its cool to see it go on for miles and miles and at night its really cool with everything all lit up.

You get the same thing in Houston. Only about half of Houston's metro is deeply covered in pines. Atlanta's hills are more of the reason why you don't get that big city effect than the trees are. The flatness of Houston, even with the trees, helps with seeing the landscape when going up on freeway ramps, or in a building. DFW doesn't really give off that big city feel for me. Too much open space between different cities here for that (and this was already discussed and proven pages ago).
