yeah San Antonio has the most "tourist" visitors, but obviously Houston has more total visitors. San Antonio definitely carries its weight though for how "small" a metro it is vs Houston and DFW.
Yeah, but you mentioned that Houston had more ANNUAL visitors, like it was some badge of honor or something, as if people were visiting Houston just to visit/for tourism just because Houston was much more cool and awesome. Having more ANNUAL visitors means nothing in that regard. A good chunk of those people could just be visiting relatives in Houston, just stopping through on the way to San Antonio, or even just there on business. That's a big difference from the context you tried to frame it in. Geez! Calm down! I was just saying (and wasn't even responding to you or quoting you when I said it)...

Houstons ultra high end River Oaks District just landed a wealth management firm.

The much-anticipated River Oaks District mixed-use development is about to get a new high-profile tenant.

...

"Our wealth management clientele is high net worth and ultra-high net worth, and this center may give them an excuse to come see us since it houses the highest-end retail companies in Houston," said Mendenhall.
The office move marks a tactic that few other wealth management firms in Houston could pull off — that is staking out territory in a high-end mixed use development to co-mingle with retail shoppers and restaurant customers, said Cushman.

Retailers seem confident in its success—the property’s 70% pre-leased despite rents over $200/SF (well above our market average) and is attracting brands that have never operated in Houston before. Here are 17 new faces to the Bayou City, as brought to us by the River Oaks District.

i havent heard much about CORE Park West in a few months..

heres a link with further info. supposably one of the buildings is supposed to be ready by early 2016, but i dont know that it ever started?

http://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/29679-core-park-west/page-1

nothing about Verde Parc besides its supposed to go where that circle road is at the northwest corner of i10 and Grand Parkway. i dont think anything has happened with that besides preliminary info being released.

unfortunately with those projects being near the Energy Corridor, i dont know if they will move forward in current market conditions.
